Battle of the bulge-beaters
There are lots of different methods of non surgical body contouring out there but two in particular get the spotlight. Coolsculpting is one and Morpheus8 RF Microneedling is another. I often am asked what the better option is out of the two and I reply Morpheus8 of course! Joking aside I prefer Morpheus8 for several reasons.
It can be used on the face as well as the body. That also includes in the intimate female region too. It can treat skin laxity and texture as well as enabling fat reduction. Coolsculpting on the other hand is used specifically for fat reduction. The way both procedures work differs too. Morpheus8 uses microneedling charged with radiofrequency to act on tissue. Coolsculpting uses cryolipolysis to freeze fat cells.
Both treatments use the natural fat metabolism of the body to excrete the dead fat cells over time. However I am probably not the only person to read about Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia which can occur after Coolsculpting. This occurs when the fat cells grow after being frozen instead of diminishing and that is certainly not the result we want from a fat reduction treatment!
Morpheus8 does not have this effect on fat cells because the methodology is different. As with all medical-grade equipment, having skill and expertise is crucial. That is why we have undergone rigorous training to make sure we really know what we are doing! I like the results I have seen with Morpheus8, it really is building a reputation for itself and I can see why it is proving so popular in Hollywood!
