Facials & Dermaplaning
Unveil a smoother, glowing complexion with our personalized skincare treatments.
Good skin care is at the heart of achieving beautiful, healthy skin. This does not just include cleansing and applying sunscreen to protect from the sun, it involves being proactive. At Invigorate Advanced Aesthetics Medical Spa in Centennial, Colorado, we encourage our patients to learn more about helping their skin. An effective skin care routine is the first step towards treating wrinkles, and preventing acne.
Exfoliating the skin is often ignored and can lead to dull, congested skin. Similarly, dry dehydrated skin looks uneven and patchy and has poor circulation. In addition, when skin is hydrated and exfoliated, it receives more advanced treatments such as laser or microneedling, which is much better. Facials and dermaplaning are two great ways to tackle exfoliation and dehydration.

Facials are a worthwhile investment in your skin’s health and appearance. They provide both immediate and long-term benefits. Regular facials can help address current concerns while preventing future problems like acne, dehydration, and premature aging. Whether you’re looking to target a specific problem or simply want to maintain a radiant complexion, regular facials should be a key part of any skincare regimen.
Some of the benefits of facial treatments include:
Deep Cleansing: An advanced level of cleansing that goes beyond your daily routine to remove dirt, oil, and impurities deep within your pores.
Exfoliation: Removes dead skin cells to reveal smoother, brighter skin.
Anti-Aging Effects: Special techniques boost collagen production and soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Brightening and Even Skin Tone: Targets hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and uneven skin tone with brightening agents like vitamin C and kojic acid.
Acne and Blemish Control: Deep cleansing, extractions, and anti-inflammatory ingredients like salicylic acid help clear acne and breakouts.
Improved Hydration: An infusion of moisturizing serums, masks, and moisturizers plump the skin and create a healthy, glowing complexion.
Improved Circulation: Facial massage techniques like lymphatic drainage boost blood flow, reduce puffiness, and promote a healthy glow.
Instant Glow: Provides an immediate boost of radiance, leaving your skin looking refreshed and luminous.
Reduced Stress and Relaxation: Facial massage techniques promote relaxation and improve overall well-being.
Facials are specially tailored to your specific skin type and concerns, ensuring you get the most effective treatment for your needs. With consistent care, you can achieve healthier, more resilient skin over time.
Wondering who can benefit from a facial? The answer is simple: almost everyone! Whether you’re dealing with breakouts, dry skin, or just want to give your face a little extra pampering, facials are like a reset button for your skin. Here’s why they’re awesome for so many people:
If You Have Acne, Pimples, or Breakouts: Facials deep clean your pores, removing dirt, oil, and bacteria that cause acne.
If Your Skin Feels Dry or Flaky: Hydrating facials pump your skin full of moisture, leaving it soft, smooth, and glowing.
If You Have Oily or Shiny Skin: If you have an oily T-zone or your skin feels greasy, facials are a great way to remove excess oil and keep your pores clear.
If You Want To Take Care of Your Skin: Facials are a great way to help maintain your skin’s health, prevent problems before they start, and refresh your skin.
If Your Skin Looks Dull: Facials remove dead skin cells to even out your tone and reveal a healthy, radiant complexion.
If You’re Starting to See Signs of Aging: If you’re noticing fine lines or wrinkles, facials can help boost collagen to plump up and rejuvenate your skin.
If You Are Prepping For a Special Event: A facial can give you an instant glow and help your makeup application go on smooth and flawless.
No matter your age, skin type, or concerns, regular facials help maintain the overall health of your skin by preventing issues before they start and keeping your complexion balanced.
Thinking about getting a facial but feeling a little unsure? Don’t worry! Facials are incredible for your skin, but having questions or worries is okay before trying one for yourself. Keep reading as we break down some common concerns so you can feel more confident before getting a facial treatment:
Will It Hurt? Most facial treatments are gentle and feel like a soothing massage. If extractions are part of the facial, there might be a little extra pressure, but it shouldn’t be painful.
Will I Break Out After? Maybe. Some people may notice a few blemishes pop up after a facial, but this is totally normal and temporary. A facial boosts skin cell turnover and brings impurities to the surface. In a few days, your complexion will clear up and look healthy and radiant.
Can I Get a Facial If I Have Sensitive Skin? Absolutely! Facials can be customized for your skin type. Prior to your treatment, let your esthetician know about any allergies or sensitivities. They’ll use products that are safe and gentle for your skin.
Will I See Results Immediately? You may experience an instant glow post-treatment. However, some facials (like acne or anti-aging) take time to show results so be patient and consistent!
Will It Work for My Skin Type? Facials are completely customizable and tailored to your unique skin type and needs. Whether you have dry, oily, sensitive, or combination skin, there’s a facial designed just for you.
Is It Okay to Wear Makeup After? Yes! Your skin will be extra smooth and ready for makeup after your facial. Make sure to use clean brushes and products to avoid clogging your freshly cleaned pores.
Having questions or concerns before trying a facial treatment is normal. Your esthetician will help you every step of the way. You’ll see why so many people love facials once you experience the glow (and relaxation).
The Oxygenation facial is a unique treatment that recruits natural physiological processes to encourage the increase of oxygen levels in the skin to achieve immediate results. The treatment facial combines Tripolar RF, oxygen and ultrasound that work both on the inside and outside of the skin creating a young, fresh, and natural appearance of the skin.
This a special event facial as it has no downtime and can be done the same day as your special event. Choose from NeoRevive™ which is a glowing and hydration facial or NeoBright™ facial which is a skin-lightening facial.
Active ingredients:
Hyaluronic Acid – increases hydration and minimizes moisture loss. Creates volume by binding with water and enhancing the elasticity of the skin to smooth out wrinkles
Retinol – one of the best anti-aging solutions, this derivative of vitamin A is clinically proven to aid in the increase in collagen and new skin cell synthesis
Peptides – stimulate collagen synthesis as well as tightening and rejuvenating the skin. When combined with hyaluronic acid, a synergic effect is created leading to renewed and restored skin
Active ingredients:
Azelaic acid – treats acne, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin tone decreasing the activity of cells, which synthesize pigments
Кojic acid – suppresses the synthesis of melanin. When combined with azelaic acid, a synergic effect of lightening and brightening occurs
Retinol – a derivative of vitamin A helps increase collagen and new skin cell synthesis
Exfoliation with gentle vibration massage removes dead cells, opens clogged pores, and smooths the surface of the skin. This prepares the skin for the next steps.
Infusion uses Capsugen to cleanse the skin and prepare it for the infusion of either NeoRevive™ or NeoBright™. The capsule containing sodium bicarbonate, citric acid and magnesium is placed at the end of the vibrating wand. When the gel and capsule interact carbon dioxide (CO2) is released.
Oxygenation occurs when oxygen bubbles rise to the surface of the skin to replace the CO2. The increased blood flow in the area encourages healthier, younger-looking skin.
Ultrasound technology: Increases penetration and absorption. Leads to improved circulation and cell metabolism. Pores are tightened, moisture is retained and swelling around the eyes is minimized.
RF/Multipolar radiofrequency: Heats up the tissue to tighten and lift the skin, decrease wrinkles, and contours the face. In addition, it helps to stimulate new collagen in the tissue. Pigmented areas are lightened.
Yes. Deep cleansing and exfoliation allow for a greater cell turnover, resulting in softer, more even skin that is less prone to breakouts and shows fewer signs of aging.
The general recommendation is for a facial every three to four weeks since that is how long skin renews itself. Facials help this process by improving local blood circulation, which brings nutrients and removes toxins, ensuring healthy glowing skin.
It is a 3-1 facial which combines the benefits of an oxygen facial to get glowing skin, with gentle exfoliation and oxygenation. Sensitive skins might not handle regular facials well, but the Oxygenation facial is safe for all skins. Additionally, this facial does not require as many repeat treatments as regular facials.
This latest technical advance uses a 3-in-1 methodology to tackle skin and hair loss concerns. It can cleanse, exfoliate, hydrate, and nourish the skin all in one session.
On top of this, it uses a proprietary blend of specialized serums: Clarify, Vivify, Detox, and Defy, derived from ancient Ayurvedic principles. These serums are tailored to the individual skin or scalp needs and are delivered by the AquaFirmeXS device using micro-cupping, vibrating massage, and ultrasound.
The result is a healthier scalp with stimulated follicles, leading to accelerated hair growth. Skin is revitalized and rejuvenated, with diminished signs of aging.
AquaFirmeXS uses a unique proprietary blend of plant-based serums derived from Ayurvedic principles. They are specially formulated to correspond to the skin’s needs.
After an AquaFirmeXS facial, the skin will look radiant, but the results are cumulative and will get better with more treatments. At least three are recommended to give optimal results.
Yes it can. In fact, it enhances and complements other aesthetic procedures.
Yes. AquaFirmeXS will deliver active ingredients straight to the hair follicle to stimulate it. This new burst of energy kick starts activity and growth. It is a needle-free and pain free procedure.
The epidermal layer of the skin (the top layer) renews every 30 days. This layer of our skin protects against environmental factors, holds hydration, produces new skin cells, and maintains the color of the skin, with everything the skin is exposed to daily.
Dermaplaning can be a great treatment to keep the epidermis healthy. It can reduce scarring, keep blackheads at bay, remove peach fuzz and keep the surface smooth. It is also known as microplaning or blading.
Dermaplaning is a versatile, effective, and gentle treatment that offers a wide range of benefits for almost all skin types. One of the greatest benefits of dermaplaning is that it helps your skin appear smoother and more radiant.
Dermaplaning can also help with the following:
You do not need to plan any downtime to recover from a dermaplaning treatment. You may experience redness or feel like your skin is scraped in the two or three days right after the procedure.
You may notice that your skin looks brighter immediately after the treatment, but it often takes a few days to appreciate the full results.
The results of dermaplaning are not permanent. The procedure claims to clear away up to three weeks’ worth of dead skin cells. After three weeks to a month, your results will have faded and must be repeated.
Avoiding sun exposure is crucial after a treatment as the sun can reverse the effects of dermaplaning. It can even create new pigment areas on the freshly uncovered skin cells. Sunscreen is recommended in the weeks following.
A very small sterilized blade is used to carefully scrape dead skin cells and fine hair off the top layer of the skin.
The procedure usually takes about 20 minutes and is not painful.
Dermaplaning can be combined with other treatments and is often used as a clean slate from which to work.
These include facials, chemical peels, the Plasma Pen or SkinPen®, microneedling, and may sometimes be a pre-treatment to the CO2 fractional laser or Morpheus8 RF Microneedling.
Post treatment
Avoid sun exposure, extreme heat or cold and tanning beds.
Pros
Most people notice a brightened skin surface almost immediately after treatment. It typically takes a few days or so to see the full effects of the treatment.
This is an excellent treatment for women who are pregnant or have hormone changes that vary. It is also a wonderful treatment for individuals with Rosacea, as it is much gentler than others that may negatively affect the Rosacea.
Cons
After the procedure, you may experience residual redness for a few days.
It is essential to be aware that the results of dermaplaning are not permanent. This can become expensive since it only removes up to three weeks’ worth of dead skin cells, so it is important to set a treatment plan ahead of time to clarify the amount of dermaplaning treatments needed.

Charmaine Vote2025-01-16I am incredibly grateful to have found Invigorate Advanced Aesthetics. Robyn Vigorito was my technician - she was incredibly patient with me to explain procedures beforehand and never pushed me to do something I wasn't comfortable with. Before and during the procedure, she took her time and was incredibly kind and careful, talking me through every step. I had the IPL treatment done and I could be happier - the terrible, dark sun spots I had are nearly totally gone and my skin is smoother and clearer (it even removed other imperfections, like acne). I can't wait to have my second IPL to take care of the spots remaining, as well as schedule my botox...I'm ready now, thanks to Robyn!Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
