Where the magic happens

Injectables and filler solutions in Centennial

Dermal fillers can replace or improve volume in areas of the face where it has been lost. They can help smooth wrinkles, plump lips and cheeks to create a fresher and more youthful appearance. At Invigorate Advanced Aesthetics Medical Spa in Centennial, Colorado we provide the natural touch that appears to turn back the clock for our clients. The team uses a wide selection of dermal fillers dedicated to providing different solutions. In areas that require more robustness we may use Sculptra Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) to create a more supple support structure or newcomer Juvederm VOLUX XC  to improve the jawline, even aging hands can be treated with Juvederm.

Most dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid (HA) and are considered to be one of the safest and most effective tools against aging aging. Some other types of filler include Revanesse® and Restylane®. Regardless of what you might choose, the team can use advanced injection techniques (like ‘stacking’) for your specific needs to ensure the most compelling and natural results.

Types of filler

Hyaluronic Acid (HA)

The most popular category of facial fillers is hyaluronic acid-based. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that is already found in your skin. It helps keep skin plump and hydrated. HA fillers are typically soft and gel-like. The results are temporary, lasting 6 -12 months or longer before the body gradually absorbs the particles. Most HA fillers are infused with lidocaine to help minimize discomfort during and after treatment. Each brand of filler that is hyaluronic acid-based works slightly differently. Several of the HA fillers we use have ‘expression technology’ that ensures the face still moves, creating a natural appearance and preventing the fake frozen look. Research shows that repeated treatments may encourage the body to make more of its own collagen.

Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA)

Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) is a synthetic, biocompatible substance that has been used in medicine for much of the last century. In dermal fillers, PMMA takes the form of a “microsphere” or tiny ball, that remains beneath the skin indefinitely to provide continued support. PMMA fillers also contain collagen, a naturally occurring substance in the skin that provides structure and firmness. This type of filler works by getting the client’s body to generate new collagen over 2-3 months. PMMA fillers can produce longer-lasting results and can be permanent in some cases. Unlike HA fillers they take months to produce results because they are working to trigger the body’s natural response collagen generation. PMMA filler is primarily used when a great deal of HA filler would be needed to create significant structural changes and fullness. It is never used on the lips.
